Balancing Multiple Roles
Life has a curious way of pushing us into unexpected arenas. For me, it’s been a journey across industries and passions — from running businesses in the power sector, creating films, acting, conducting management research, designing homes, industrial buildings, and a church, to writing books. Each role is demanding in its own right, yet balancing them brings a unique perspective and energy that enriches everything I do.
As an entrepreneur in the power sector, I navigate the challenges of running a business — managing teams, understanding market dynamics, and driving innovation. These skills translate surprisingly well into filmmaking and storytelling, where timing, coordination, and leadership are equally crucial, whether directing a scene or coordinating with actors and crew.
Stepping in front of the camera as an actor adds another layer to my understanding of human behavior and emotion, insights that often feed back into my research and writing. Management research sharpens my analytical thinking and helps me identify patterns in both business and creative processes. Writing allows me to reflect, distill experiences, and share learnings in a way that reaches far beyond the projects I’m involved in.
Designing sweet homes, industrial buildings, and even a church has been a deeply satisfying creative outlet, blending functionality with aesthetics and leaving a tangible mark on the spaces people inhabit. Each project challenges me to think structurally, visually, and emotionally — skills that echo in my films and storytelling.
Amid all this, being a good family person remains my anchor. My family is the heart of everything I do — the source of support, grounding, and joy that makes juggling multiple roles possible and meaningful.
Balancing these diverse roles is no small feat. It demands rigorous time management, a clear sense of priorities, and the humility to learn continuously from every team and experience. Yet, the interplay between business, cinema, design, research, writing, and family life creates a synergy that keeps me energized, curious, and deeply fulfilled.
Ultimately, this journey has taught me that life’s richness comes not from focusing on a single path, but from embracing multiple passions — and discovering how they can inform and enhance each other in unexpected ways.
